Your user name is the unique identifier that you will use to log into your Private Fund Management account. If you choose to open additional accounts, you will be able to link them to this user name if you wish.
When selecting your user name, keep the following requirements in mind:
It must be at least 5 characters in length.
It should consist of a combination of letters and numbers.
It cannot contain any symbols.
It cannot match your name or mother's maiden name.
It is case sensitive. If you use a combination of lower and upper case letters, you will need to enter it exactly the same way when you log in.
It cannot be changed after your account is opened.
Important: Your user name is one-half of the information required to access your Private Fund Management account. Do not share it (or your password) with others.
What happens if my user name is not available?
If you have selected a user name that is already in use, you will be prompted to choose a new user name. Private Fund Management will suggest several user names that are not currently in use, or you can create a completely new user name.
Note: If the user name you wanted is unavailable, try changing the case of the letters used, altering the spelling or adding numbers to create a unique user name.
1 .Log into Accounts > Personal Info
2. Make changes.
Click on Update.
A password is your private key to your Private Fund Management account. It should be something known only to you, and it should be something difficult for others to guess.
When creating a password, keep the following requirements in mind:
It must be a minimum of 6 characters long
It must contain a mix of letters and numbers
It cannot match your name, user name or mother's maiden name.
It is case sensitive, so if you use a mix of lower and upper case letters, you will need to enter it exactly the same way when you log in
It should not be a word straight out of the dictionary - try mixing letters of different cases, numbers and symbols to create a more-secure password.
Important: Your password should be kept private at all times. If you are asked by anyone for your password, do not provide it. Private Fund Management staff members will not request your password for any reason, and they are not able to access or provide this information if asked.
